I think I’m developing a little squirrel obsession. I’ve seen these furry little critters everywhere, from Washington to the Grand Canyon.

My hotel in Flagstaff - the Little America, is surrounded by woodlands and my ground floor room has a small balcony that looks out on open parkland. I’ve just spent the last half hour sat on this this balcony taking photos and video of all the squirrels that have been swarming over the balcony scrounging for food.

Everyone else just says they are rats with bushier tails. I’m still in the cute and furry stage as the novelty hasn’t worn off.
